I’ve recently have been spending some time in the kitchen with chef/owner Kevin Mathieson from Art Is In Bakery. My joy of cooking has inspired me to want to create authentic and flavourful breads. Kevin is Ottawa’s leading bread maker and therefore a perfect mentor for me.
Tonight I was fortunate enough to walk away with a couple loafs of his “Dynamite Bread”. The one currently pictured is his “Potato/Dill” loaf.
So back in my kitchen I was inspired to make a creation of my own using his award winning “dynamite”.
Here’s my creation:
-Pan seared striploin
-Aged Gouda cheese
